

- They offer you money for receiving packages and forwarding the packages to them. You don't realize you are shipping stolen property to con artists until your pay never materializes and the police show up at your door.
- They tell you it’s too expensive and difficult to have merchandise shipped to their country directly. But the real reason they want to ship the goods through you is to avoid the fraud detection systems that merchants use for overseas credit card purchases.
- They pay you, if at all, with a fake check or money order. You won’t make money, and you’ll be out the cost of the shipping.
- Never give personal information to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly asking for it. Always check with whoever they claim to represent first.
